Highlights include the region of Lombardy from Milan to Brescia, Verona and their Roman highlights as well as Lago Iseo and the many rock art petroglyphs of Valcamonica, the Hannibal battle site of the Trebbia River near Piacenza, the Musuem of the Violin at Cremona and Antonnio Stradivari’s House in Cremona and continuing in the Italian Lake district around Lago Garda including Sirmione and its Roman villa as well as Desenzano. Study travel also follows an itinerary through the Veneto wine area of Friuli and its Langobard sites like Cividale del Friuli with its regional museum and then finishing in Aquileia and Trieste with musuems in both places.
